Several years later, the group signed to LaFace Records. It was the label’s first female solo artist. The Braxtons then branched out and worked with other artists, like Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald. One of their singles, “What a Fool Believes,” was written by these two musicians.
Aside from the Braxtons, other music acts performing at the Blues Festival include Boyz II Men, Charlie Wilson, Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe. Albert Castiglia will also perform as a blues guitarist.
